Villa Suardo is a combination of a 13th-century medieval fortress and later residential buildings dating back to the 18th century. The villa features a portico, loggias and an Italian-style garden. Inside there is a chapel.

It is a small hamlet but an important historical crossroads, since Roman times it was a stopover point between Bergamo and Brescia, as evidenced by the discovery of the remains of a Roman road at the foot of the nearby hill. In the surrounding, the parish church of S. Pietro, a modern work with a star-shaped cross plan, is worth a visit. Don’t miss the 18th-century Suardo Villa and garden, a jewel of architecture and landscape art to be admired.
