Enoy your ride
The Bergamo Brescia Cultural Cycle Path, legacy of the Italian Capital of Culture 2023, is a journey through Italy’s cultural heritage.
Along the route, you can find over 800 points of interest, including two UNESCO sites: the Venetian Walls in Bergamo and the Brescia complex of San Salvatore and Santa Giulia with the Capitolium.
You will cycle across the historic centers of two cities and over 30 municipalities and villages, all waiting to be discovered. You may encounter some land art installations in open dialogue with the landscape, making your visit even more special.
Between culture and nature
Immerse yourself in a fascinating natural area amidst plains and hills: discover castles, historic residences, ancient monasteries, and examples of industrial archaeology.
Follow the paths beaten in the Middle Ages and trace the routes of historic railways. Pedal through the farms that dot the countryside and learn about agricultural practices passed down for centuries.
Reach Lake Iseo and the nature reserve of Torbiere del Sebino: the lake landscapes will leave you speechless.
You’ll discover the local food and wine heritage as you pass through the vineyards of Val Calepio and Franciacorta, stopping to taste typical products in wineries, farmhouses, and restaurants.
An experience for everyone
We designed the cycle path to be accessible to all. From the most athletic to families, to people with vulnerabilities, everyone can enjoy the route: all it takes is curiosity and a desire to be amazed. Whether on foot, by bike, or in a handbike, you’ll always be protected from traffic and won’t risk getting lost thanks to careful signage.
Do you prefer moving on an e-bike? In this case, you’ll find several points to recharge your vehicle. There are also bike repair shops, rentals, and guides, all available to make your visit unforgettable.
