Starting from Seriate you can venture out on two extraordinary bicycle routes. To the south along the Serio Park you can ride along the river and its woods to the Adda River on a 58-km route. To the north you can reach Ranica and from there follow the Val Seriana cycle route to Clusone (32 km) and Valbondione (60 km), following the old disused railway along the Serio River.

The small town of Orio al Serio, known for its airport, allows for a brief stopover in the municipal gardens, to admire the civic tower, and if you’re lucky, to get a close look at the deer in a small farm at the town’s entrance. North of the airport, you can traverse areas revamped by the airport, the new hill from which to watch planes land, and the experimental cycle path by Italcementi.
