The church of San Pietro Apostolo in Tagliuno is a beautiful example of a Baroque church. Like many churches of this period, it was built on top of a pre-existing church to accommodate the growing number of faithful and stick to the new guidelines of San Carlo Borromeo. Take a moment to appreciate the extraordinary frescoscycle and stucco decorations from the 18th century.

The castle of Tagliuno, (once an autonomous municipality), built in the 14th century, dominates the Oglio Valley with its imposing walls. Take time to visit the church of San Pietro Apostolo. The area is crossed by the Oglio Nord Regional Park, which offers a wide choice of mountain bike trails.
