This stretch of the River Oglio is protected by four castles: Trebecco Castle is a fortified medieval village from the 10th century. The only entrance is a tower. The village is today finely restored and houses private houses.
Trebecco is known for its castle and medieval village, among the best preserved, a must for history and culture enthusiasts. The village, with its picturesque stone houses, offers a pleasant stroll through the valleyways, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in local history and tradition. The hamlet offers a beautiful “spiaggetta dei poveri”, a place of peace and relaxation for those seeking some coolness on summer days.
